We are a prominent AM 100 firm with multiple locations through out the United States. We are seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney to join its Denver, Colorado office. We specialize in complex commercial litigation, including franchise and distribution law, product liability, toxic torts, employment, malpractice defense, and general tort cases.
Position Overview
As a Commercial Litigation Attorney, you will represent clients in complex commercial disputes across various industries. You will be responsible for managing cases from inception to resolution, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, motion practice, and appearing in court. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney seeking challenging work in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
-Represent clients in commercial litigation matters, including breach of contract, business torts, securities, and class actions.
-Draft and review legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and discovery responses.
-Manage and oversee discovery and case management.
-Conduct legal research and analysis, offering strategic advice to clients.
-Appear in court for hearings, depositions, and trials.
-Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals within the firm to develop strategies and solutions.
-Maintain strong client relationships and ensure a high level of client service.
Qualifications
-4+ years of experience in commercial litigation in a mid-size or large law firm setting
-You're prepared to draft and argue discovery motions, take and defend depositions, and bring a positive, entrepreneurial spirit to a growing office
-You possess exceptional oral and written advocacy skills with strong academic credentials
-You are adept in case management, ready to take the lead, and are admitted to the Colorado Bar
